Certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver in 1994 I spent a few years diving the lakes, rivers, and streams of Mississippi and Florida Gulf Coast. As with most people, life took over causing a hiatus from diving. After several years in the United States Army as a Combat Medical Specialist and registered Paramedic, I found myself in Hawaii and the perfect opportunity to renew my diving passion.
Since that time I became an instructor for PADI and SDI/TDI teaching numerous specialty and technical diving courses as well as conducting first response medical training for students in Hawaii, Texas, Pennsylvania, and now Southern California. During the last few years my diving and instruction has been mostly focused on Technical Diving, I still enjoy being a part of someone's first breaths underwater. While my personal diving preferences have changed over the years, my passion for sharing the underwater world with others is still going strong.
