The Open Water SCUBA Diver Course is the first course in your SCUBA diving adventure. Our dive courses are not designed to push as many students as we can through the program. We start our students with a technical diving mindset to create new divers that have the knowledge, skills and situational awareness to safely conduct dives within their training limits. We firmly believe when you leave our course you are truly ready to dive without a dive professional present. Due to this we are not the fastest course nor the cheapest course out there, but you can be assured, when you are done, you earned your certification and you will be one of the best Open Water divers on your next trip.

Our Open Water SCUBA Diver course is conducted in 2 steps. 

Step 1- Completion of the SDI Online E-Learning, Course and Equipment Orientation, and two pool sessions. 

Step 2- Certification Dives- These four dives are your chance to put your knowledge and skills together in your first real SCUBA dive. Your certification dives can be conducted here locally, on one of our dive trips, or abroad using one of our partner facilities.

At Diver's Below Scuba we keep our class sizes to a minimum ensuring each student receives the individualized training they deserve. We typically schedule our classes with only two students per class. Class sizes can be increased for families and groups upon request.
